The Lewis Family Farm is devoted to the principles of organic, sustainable agriculture. Our herd of USDA-certified grass (forage) fed American Hereford cattle is born and raised here.
No grain is fed, ever. The herd lives outdoors year-round, inhabiting woodland in winter, rotating on lush mineral-rich pastures in summer. We feed LFF baled hay in winter and follow a dynamic grazing management program in summer, moving the herd often to maximize nutritious intake.
Bred from national champion stock, these beef grow slowly while maintaining high fertility rates.
Meat from our cattle is succulent and flavorful. Lean but loaded with healthy Omega 3.
